CCI*Hotel Reservations Reports & Reviews – Page 2 (75)

I went online to book a hotel room for one night. I believed I was on the hotel website (Marriott) while I was searching and booking. I knew from a prior search that I would be able to cancel my reservation 48 hrs before the reservation date without a fee, per the hotel policy. After pressing the button to book the reservation I noticed a very high booking fee and became very concerned. Then received a verification email from BookOnline.com and realized I had accidentally booked my reservation through a third party site, which was made to look like the hotel webpage. I have never heard of this company/website before. I immediately cancelled my reservation and was sent an email saying that my reservation had been cancelled. The email said “cancelled” but all fees remained. I was suspicious so I immediately called the customer service number to report my concern and confirm my refund, the customer service agent put me on hold to “check with the hotel regarding their policy” and came back and told me that my cancellation had been verified. But was not answering me directly about my refund. The info provided to me was VERY confusing. I was reassured again and again that my reservation had been cancelled, but the customer service agent was not forthcoming about the $400 charge that would remain on my credit card, despite the accidental booking and canceling the reservation immediately. I had to ask in multiple times before I received a clear response, letting me know that they had cancelled my reservation, and telling me they were keeping my $400, despite confirming my cancellation. Again, stating to me that this was the hotel’s policy. I asked, in this case, to reinstate the reservation, since I would be forced to pay $400 anyway (for a room that costs $250ish, one night only). I was told by the customer service agent that they would essentially undo the cancellation and reinstate the reservation. I never received an email verification, and when I called the Marriott, they did not have any record of this reservation through bookonline.com. I just want a refund. This website is extremely misleading. I am a reasonably intelligent, experienced traveler! Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I’m sure this website will continue to fool people into thinking they are booking directly through the hotel website, while sneaking in absurd booking fees and then refusing to refund money. I hope I can prevent others from making this huge mistake! Of course, I have been unable to submit a review (or warning) on the company’s webpage. They do not accept reviews.

My husband booked a room on what he thought was a Marriott hotel's website. We received a confirmation from something called "BookOnline" which we were not familiar with. The confirmation said it was from "[email protected]. The cost for the room turned out to be more than double the rate quoted on the hotel website. He then cancelled the booking but noted that we were not reimbursed on our credit card. He called the credit card company which said there was nothing they could do since there was a 'no cancellation' policy on this booking! We never booked on this website and were not aware of the 'no cancellation' policy. We contacted the hotel a which said that no cancellation was made and that we had paid in advance, which was news to us. We are reasonably savvy travelers, and if we could be scammed, I'm sure others are as well. We are particularly aggrieved at "cc"BookOnline.com as we are stuck with a charge for $727.59 for a 2 night stay where the actual rate, quoted to us by the hotel, is $139 per night. I hope that this complaint will be formally reported to "cci"BookOnline.com. The booking was made by Ronald Kies.

I had went to Hilton website, I'm not sure how but ended up with CCI making my reservation. I was charged a $89 fee for using them that didn't show up until I was finished. I was never sent confirmation number or anything. Shame on me this time around... From now on I am more careful.

I googled La Quinta and was directed to call them for a reservation thinking I was calling La Quinta directly. I booked a reservation and given a price on the phone. I asked when my card would be charged and about the cancellation policy. I questioned the agent several times when I suspected I may not calling La Quinta directly and he assured me I was. I then booked a room with the understanding that I would not be charged until I registered and that they would only charge for a no show and early checkout. As soon as I booked I was charged an amount exceeding the quote. I called right back and at that point I realized these people weren’t La Quinta and cancelled. At that point the agent told me the charge was non-refundable and I would not be getting a refund for the charge. This all happened in the space of less than an hour. These people are ripoffs! Never do business with them and always check to make sure you know who’s answering the phone.

Went to a website I thought was the hotels direct site. It showed the price, I entered my information, and it asked to continue reservation. Did not see the writing below the required information box that showed extra service fees. Next page my reservation I thought I was making for $124 was now $189? and said my confirmation was sent. I could go back on the browser to check fees. Never received a confirmation. I called the help desk and was told it was there on the bottom for everyone to see and they were not misleading or fraudulent. I completely disagree! I’ll be watching my card for any additional charges. Shame on me. BUYER BEWARE!

Took my debit card information and would' nt allow me to change my reservation in less than 24 hours. card still pending but my banking institution could not stop charge because it was debit. Numerous of same complaints against these people they should refund my money and be put out of business.

CCI pretended to be the Holiday Inn Express Reservations line. The charged my credit card and never registered that with the actual Holiday Inn Express. I got an exorbidant charge to my cc from CCI and then was charged again by the hotel. CCI is a 100% SCAM!

I experienced the same thing with Hampton Inn and CCI. Neither one would refund my $403. I’m still pursuing this! Total scam!

Can not find any contact information. Googling CCI*Hotel Reservations.com take you to "getaroom.com" calling them was a waste of time. They denied knowing anything.

First of all, they charged the full payment on my reservation although my travel days is 3 weeks later; Secondly, they charged me in USD which they have never mentioned to me when I made the reservation.
Once I found out this charge I called in and made the cancellation. Unfortunately, I lost money for exchange rate because of the conversion from USD to CDN. It is a scam and will never used them again.

This company is a scam site. They booked me at a Super 8 charged me for two rooms. I only used one room & they charged $170. No one should use this site. I have reported them to the State of MO along with the Super 8 hotel for allowing them to use their site.

I googled a local hotel room in Alaska for three people for about a 2 week stay. I found a La Quinta and clicked on the number... but it was not their number. It was "guest reservations" who answered the phone. Under this initial guise, they were able to get through the entire transaction before I realized what just happened. I was charged for two of the rooms up front. Approximately $4500... each. They wanted me to check speak with a supervisor to complete the final charge, but that is when I figured out that I was just scammed. My phone received messages from Chase alerting about possible fraudulent charges, but it was already too late. The damage was done. This was almost one month ago. These charges are still being disputed, but it does not seem Chase will help me out. CCI Hotel Reservations is a scam and deceiving and misleading people into booking through them. How this "company" holds a number one spot as a paid advertisement on google is still baffling. I will crush this organization one day.

I booked a hotel through expedia for a one night stay in Ithaca NY. When I checked my bank account I was charged twice one through Expedia for 300$ and the other through CCI hotel res tx for $474.36. I looked in my emails to see if I was in the wrong and by accident booked a room twice but I don't even have a confirmation email or anything! I never booked anything through CCI hotel res and they took my card information from another website and charged me. I called the company and they said they couldn't refund for no good reason. I spoke with the manager and they gave me the same runaround that we already paid and I can't get a refund I should have canceled my reservation...but how could I cancel something I never made?!?!?! IT IS A SCAM/FRAUD. THEY POSE AS A POPULAR SITE LIKE EXPEDIA OR PRICELINE BUT THEY ARE ACTUALLY A THIRD PARTY SITE.

On Thursday, June 25, 2021, CCI*Reservations charged me $83.08 just to book a reservation for the Days Inn in Mobile, Alabama for the night of June 24, 2021. I think it's a scam! How do they get away with charging so much for their services? I see that there have been a lot of people complaining about CCI but it doesn't seem like anyone is doing anything about it. They need to be investigated for fraud!

Was on Tropicana laughflin website looking a room rates
The next day had a $444.00 charge on my card never booked room
Called and cx
Called my bank had charge reversed
Now 3 months later my money was then re given to cci for a trip I canceled and never went on !

CCI has refused to refund my cancelled reservation of March 17, 2021 for Wyndham by Travelodge Palm Springs. They make promises but never come through. I have a valid proof of cancellation via email from CCI of my cancelled stay (more than 72 hrs in advance of planned stay) but they now insist I be charged for the 1st night as a "No show." As of today, June 4, 2021, I have received 0.00 refund. Stay away from this company! They are a scam and not to be trusted.

My credit card shows two charges I do not recognize. This is a Capital One Venture card, showing a charge of $597.70 on May 25 and a charge of $19.99 on May 25. Please contact me today or I will report these as fraudulent charges. Paul Herbers. [protected]. [protected]@coolinglaw.com

Just got charged $60 by them. Who do i call?

I made a reservation with Reservations.com and less than 24 hours later canceled the reservations because of a family death. I could only speak to people in the Phillippines and they were of no assistance. I found the charge contained a $19.99 charge by Reservations.com which I don't dispute according to their website, but the charge by CCi*Reservations.com was never made by me or authorized to be made. When I called the hotel and spoke to the manager he told me that the reservation was made by Priceline and that the hotel's contract with Priceline prevented a refund. But I did not make a reservation with Priceline and, because I knew of their no refund policy, I would not have made the reservation and this was never disclosed to me. What I believe is that Reservations.com charged me one price and then made the reservation itself through Priceline and pocketed the difference. If this is not a scam then nothing is.
