This Edwin Gonzalez has been emailing from 12/28/2023 to 1/8/2024 for a so called Cash Express Loan that I never got in direct deposit in my bank account they tried to get me to write a check of 600.00 but I told them no I would not write a check because I never got the money nor did I apply for it in December of 2019 then on 2/8/2024 he told me to go buy a Steam gift card of 100.00 and to scratch the back of it take picture and email him the numbers till I pay in full amount this is very fishy to me, because why are they trying to get me pay something I never got and why wait 4 years. why did they not try to contact me directly before collections did it is because I did not get a loan from them!

I was contacted via phone, they left a voicemail stating they were on retainer to serve me a summons at my home or at my place of employment. If I could not be reached at my home they would be forced to serve me at my place of employment and that I needed to have 2 forms of ID and have my supervisor there to sign as a witness.

They used a scare tactic with the threat of being legally prosecuted.

They told me they would take payments in the form of gift cards. And that's when the red flags went up, also along with the gmail account.

I requested a copy of the contract and they stated they did not have to show me any paperwork because I was not asked for paperwork when I applied.
