Believing their lies cost me $750

Called an 800 number I understood to be for Enterprise reservations and was told, since I only had a debit card, I would need to purchase 2 Serve/American Express prepaid cards — one for $500 and one for $250, which would cover the $450 rental and $300 deposit. Then Sam from the confirmation dept called and got the card numbers and within minutes sent an email with my confirmed reservation. I called Enterprise and was horrified to learn Enterprise does accept debit cards, does not accept American Express prepaid cards and never takes a customer’s money (card) until he/she picks up the car. I called the number on back of the Serve cards and learned the money had been drained from the accounts. Sirfozz Marketing was one of the merchants, paid $500, and Global Keto was the other, receiving $259. I tried in vain to reverse the transactions, but couldn’t and I filed a formal dispute which was denied. Every person I spoke to — 2 at the reservation agency and at least a dozen at Serve customer service had a very thick, heavy foreign accent. I believe they’re all working together. I feel it’s a group effort scam.

On the phone found a number for Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I called and the scammer picked up and I proceeded to make reservation and paid with the prepaid credit card. Gave me reservation number but was invalid.
