We received an email from "AMAZON" that said we owe thousands of dollars for " "computer hacking equipment". They spoke in thick foreign accents and incited my husband to anger when they referred him to a bogus customer care sight that would only take the "so-called" charge off if he got a gift card. My husband thought I bought something erroneously and yelled at me and made me talk to them. I was yelled at by them and was told to "get the [censored]in card!" I carefully explained to my husband I would not and why. My husband slowly realized that I was right. Its a scam!

I just received a call on my home phone saying they were with Amazon. I had an outstanding bill of $961. This is upsetting. I just got out of the hospital. I don't buy anything from Amazon. I don't even know Amazon. I do not have the phone number that called. I could not tell if it was a live person or a recording. Caller wanted me to do something. I said no. I said I am calling the Better Business Bureau and hung up. I assume this is a scam. I thought it was best I hang up.

Amazon called to state that bank card was used to purchase a $1400 phone on amazon.  No transaction has been placed on my debit card.

They wanting my bank account information plus email and got upset when I only gave my name and phone number which he had because he called me.

Sent me a email. When I opened it said it was a invoice for a Amazon purchase.Had a name that wasn’t mine. At the main bottom of the invoice had a phone number to call if I didn’t not purchase the IPhone 13 Max. Call the number to get a refund. I called and them there wasn’t a purchase on my account for $999.00 told me it wouldn’t show up for 24 hrs and that’s why I need to cancel it right away. Told me to go the App Store on my iPhone and type in deskscam. I told them I wasn’t doing that cause it would give them access to everything on my phone. Said she was going to to call ScamPulse.com to make sure it was safe. Well needless to say they hung up on me. Be careful of what they want you to do.

Automatic caller said I owe for product that will be delivered and my Amazon card will be charged. I did not order anything from Amazon. I hung up, blocked the number and am turning in the report.

I received a call with an automated message identifying the caller as a worker at amazon. This person said my Amazon account had been hacked, that an iPhone was purchased using my account and to hold for the next agent who would help me freeze my account and collect my money. No such thing happened and I was not hacked.

The number called with an automated number saying I had a fraudulent charge on my Amazon account. I asked to speak to a rep. I asked that they remove me from their scam list. The person hung up on me. I then received 3 calls in a row from the above listed number. The gentleman said “please take me off your scam list” and hung up on me.

I received a call from a person claiming to be Amazon orders. The person states I ordered over $1000.00 in product from amazon. I advised the caller that I would never order something for that cost. The caller then advise me to pull up a website and they will walk me through the steps to claim my order. When I refused to do it the caller threaten me stating they will sue me. The caller was arguementive and then hung up on me. It appears that the caller was fishing for information to pull up my account. I'm sharing my story therefore no one will become a victim to this scam.

Received attached text. Link leads to a call. Agent then states computer being purchased on my Amazon account. Confirms address and name then states it is too late to stop purchase from Mexico but if I give them my bank info they will work with bank.

Hung up at that point.

Hello, a few hours ago I was contacted by a person that said his name was Luke calling from Amazon about a fraudulent charge made. He said that someone tried to purchase an i phone from my Amazon account and they were going to deliver the phone to Georgia today. He asked me what kind of computer I used and wanted to remotely check the purchase online. He asked me if I have online banking and wanted me to open up my Amazon account and my internet banking. Luke asked me to run a program in order to remotely check the purchase and said that our call would be cut in and out because of poor internet access. I caught on and told him that I wasn't going to open up my banking info and that they should be able to tell on their end if a purchase was made. I had already ran the program for remote access but asked him to close it and I deleted it from my computer. Hopefully I did it in time before he had any personal info. They already knew my name and phone number.

I received a call from this number that appeared like a local number, saying they were from Amazon alerting me of a suspicious purchase of an Iphone being sent to FL. I checked my account and no purchase is shown. It was a scam.
