What we received was a serious breach of contract. Alaina arrived alone—with her newborn and babysitter—without the additional 2 contracted staff. While we agreed to the presence of her child and sitter out of kindness, we did not waive our right to full coverage. As a result of her failure to perform, she missed critical moments—including the groom’s dance with his mother and our first dance as husband and wife. These memories are gone forever. The emotional toll of this loss is devastating.
Communication after payment was sporadic and deteriorated further post-wedding. Per contract, we were to receive a 3–4 minute preview video within one week and a final 7-minute video within one month. Neither was delivered. After months of silence, I was forced to take time off work to meet her in person on May 12, 2025. Only then did she send over a 3:52 video—nearly six months late. It lacked mic’d audio (no microphones were ever used) and ignored our chosen music, despite both being contractually promised. Instead, she used generic stock music. Metadata confirms the video was created that same morning at 4:20 a.m.—just hours before our meeting—despite her claim it had been sent in December. She has provided no evidence to support that false assertion.
What was supposed to be the happiest day of our lives is now shadowed by negligence, deception, and profound disappointment. This breach of trust—and of contract—has left us heartbroken and irreparably harmed.
