Someone acting as Hector Aguilar With reality based group advertised on LinkedIn to get personal information. The email address isn’t legit. It has dashes in the company name. Beware. He sends funds from HSBC bank from account ending in 5828 and text you from phone number 615-787-3398

Type of a scam Credit Cards

I applied for a mystery shopper position on LinkedIn on 6/13/22 with a pay of $300 per assignment. I received an email response from someone named Chris Davis on 6/14/22. He told me I am hired and qualified to work as a secret shopper. Asked for my credit card info, address, full name, birthdate, phone number, and last four of my social security number so that my credit card could be funded. I received a credit card confirmation of payment. Hector Aguilar communicated with me via text message throughout the process of trying to get me to purchase the gift cards. I felt something was not right so I went back and refunded the gift cards purchased. Throughout this entire time, Hector continues to pressure me to reveal the gift card numbers to him. I tried to reach out via email to Chris Davis, and someone that does not even speak proper English called me and also tries to pressure me in sending over the gift card info. I tried to reach out to the actual company but was unsuccessful.
