I am a new homeowner and continuously got a "final notice" in the mail regarding my home warranty possibly affecting my mortgage. After the 3rd notice, I called the number and he impersonated a home warranty agent through Rocket Mortgage. He said I needed a "first party" warranty through Rocket Mortgage, or my home would be flagged. He then requested I send him $275 by debit, credit, or check and in exchange he would send me a policy packet. I then became skeptical and said I wasn't comfortable purchasing something when I had no idea I was buying. He then became frustrated and said he'd take the minimum of $100 today and if I didn't do it, I'd lose the discount. I then hung up the phone.

Became extremely hostile and angry when we kept asking for what the notice was about, claiming home will be flagged for negligence. Even though all the items described as part of a warranty is something that is optional and does not cause any flagging of home.
