Scam text about fake Subaru Forester warranty closure
I immediately googled the phone number they were trying to get me to call 844-494-1720 and seen it was a scam on ScamPulse. I screen shotted it and sent it back to them via text and told them to go scam someone else!
Thing is my car is covered for a certain amount of years so nothing is expiring and anything that is is handled directly through Subaru. People please Beware!
Phishing scam texts about fake vehicle policy termination
Text messages identifying my vehicle and stating that my "policy" was going to be "terminated". Texts received multiple times + calling my number. They provide a number to call. This is NOT based on any insurance or warranty connected to my vehicle despite it identifying it. I believe rhey wanted money as "payment and overdue fees for a fake policy..
I did not contact them so this is all that I know.
