Important notice regarding a warranty plan, or so it says. I never had a home warranty before to begin with. I have gotten this before and was curious but never interacted with them. I called the ScamPulse.com and confirmed it is a scam.

Scammer sent a letter via USPS 3rd class mail (junk mail indicia) indicating a relationship with the mortgage holder and stating that the home warranty was about to expire. There is and never has been a home warranty on this property. No email or mailing address was provided, only a phone number to call. This is clearly a scam as any reputable home warranty company will provide contact information as well as verifiable information regarding the company.

The recorded message said "Home Defense", letter sent from Home Warranty Division.

This woman got on, didn't say her name, but says she sees the year house was built, sq. feet, and saw that our home warranty expired. I said I never had a home warranty, she said I must have had one or else we wouldn't have gotten their letter. I said some choice words, called them a bunch of scammers and want my name/address removed from all mailings. (We'll see how long before another one comes!)

This is the 7th Home Warranty baloney I got in the mail in TWO months, everyone of them a different phone number, but everyone of them use the same exact letter/wording. And...they come in my name only, husband's name is not on there at all - darn, he lives here, too! [censored], I'm tired of getting these scammer 'warranty' letters.

Letter addressed to my husband with our address. Said home warranty is expiring 6

20.24. They wanted 191.00 to extend the insurance for 3 years.

Had a property code listed and said to call ###-###-####.

Scammer sends a letter implying they have some type of relationship with the mortgage holder (bank) and that the home warranty on the property has or soon will be expiring (but in reality, the home does not have a warranty and never has).
The scammer refuses to provide the name of the company or a mailing address when called. They also refuse to remove you from their mailing list, in fact, they will deny sending you them. Then they argue with you and are obnoxious when you demand they stop sending these letters to you..
