My husband's name was in Big Bold Letters at the top of the text. They said they had made several attempts to get in contact with him regarding an outstanding balance. They said they needed to speak to him today or "your account can be held." A contact number of ###-###-#### was given to call and resolve the matter. Also stated that if I wanted the number removed, I had to call that number, the number used was for "outgoing texts only."

Received a text from (301) 635-5737 directed to my husband. Text read: "Alert: NAME IN ALL CAPS. We've tried to contact you about your outstanding balance. Call us today at 469-521-9206 to avoid freezing your account.

No additional information was included. I replied to the text with "Outstanding balance for what?" and received no reply.
