I received a text today from a 252 area code with the following message: [My name], we must make contact immediately. Call our office 833-883-2930 for info on your Acct: [random numbers&letters] . Text STOP to opt-out.

I did not respond or call as I assumed it was a scam however i did Google the number and came across many scam associated posts.

Scammer sent multiple messages indicating an “account” was delinquent and overdue, and urging us to contact them to discuss settlement options.

At one point I accidentally answered a phone call from a “Jason Kesselring” utilizing a different phone number (602) 518-1005) who I believe to be connected to this, seeing as shortly after another text came through.

This one informing us that contact has been attempted. Then today a final text outlining that fees and penalties would begin to affect this account.
