Jan 26th 2024 mother received phone call from New Life Financial on the pretenses of wanting to help with finances. Offering a balance transfer from her credit card to another acct with 0% interest rate. Fees were discussed but never agreed upon. Charges made to her credit card in the approx amount of $7000. Mother called bank and disputed charges. Charges reversed pending bank investigation. Feb 15th, bank received a phone call from someone impersonating my mother and sister claiming charges were not fraudulent and requested a reversal. My mother is a retired elderly woman living on a fixed income (social security). New Life Financial took advantage of my mom to gain access to her finances. Then attempted to impersonate her with her bank to override charges.
