I was knew to Poshmark selling items so this was my first experience had someone wanting a purse I had for sale and they said they couldn’t make the payment that I had to finish activating my account, new policy was to deposit 200 to 500 dollars to show I was a real person as so many have been scammed, they had sent the customer a message with a link I had to go on, I hit the link and then got a text message stating this new policy. I had to send 200.00 to just verify my account and it would be in my account to take right back, so I sent 200.00 and was told account was activated and let customer know to purchase, as I did then I get a message from customer she accidently paid and I got an email stating she over paid and wanted me to deposit 1000.00 in account as soon as I did I would get money right back. Right then I knew it was a scam! I won’t purchase anything else or sell anything in line except from private groups!

They just tried to scam me on Poshmark as well I always Google numbers and i only work through the app. Gladly they didn't get more from you either
