In the beginning of the 2023/24 school year we received a flyer via the school district’s communications system informing us about a youth sports league in the community (youth pro sports) that would be starting in October 2023. I enrolled my son in their soccer league on 9/2023 and paid the registration fee via teamsnap. As the start date approached we received an email stating that the league had been postponed. We received about another 3 emails postponing the league start date until after the holidays. In January 2024, we received a final email stating that the league would be cancelled and that the registration fee would be refunded within 21 days. Since then I have made several efforts in contacting their “refund department” and keep getting a text message from that number stating that they are currently with a customer and ask that we communicate via text. When my concerns are stated, they will respond by saying that they will reprocess my refund or that they could Zelle me my refund but I would have to wait as they have met their transaction capacity for the month. I have also noticed that in the last month their website has disappeared and a yelp page has appeared with parents voicing the exact same experience as mine. I have reached out to my bank to start an investigation and have also reached out to teamsnap to notify them of possible fraudulent activity.
