Person Called home phone. I answered phone. Could not understand due to accent. Heavy accent. I repeatedly asked who was calling. Would not say. Gave phone to my husband. Wanted to speak to my mother in law (she was recently deceased). He said his name was John Douglas. He referenced her old home address in *** ***, nc. My husband told him she was deceased. He wanted to know who answered phone then. My husband said my wife. The person then stated my name and knew my husbands name. He said he was coming by our home tomorrow to give us something. Said it was regarding Readers Digest. My husband told him we did not order or apply to anything from readers digest. He said it was a long time ago. My husband told him he was not coming and never call again. The number on the phone ID was ###-###-#### from Browns Summit, NC. I checked to trace number and there are several scam calls reported for this phone number
