I almost got scammed!

I was so excited when a lady on Facebook assured me that this was a legit position with pay of 25 hr and working from home with Xerox. I felt something was off when I was told to get the telegram app but I still did it with hopes it was legit. I then was sent a link and it directed me to a manager that asked interview questions and gave me instructions and information on the position. Thank Hod my husband made me look in to this further and confirmed my intuition being right. I just wanted this job so bad I didn’t want to believe it. I then texted the lady on Facebook that she was scamming me and she immediately removed herself. I then told the manager that I knew he was scamming me and then no response from him anymore either. I’m so upset about this.

Xerox Work From Home Postion

I was contacted and told to download the Telegram app from someone by the name of Lex Smith on Facebook. Once I downloaded the app, I was told the interview is being conducted by a Timothy James, Admin manger from Xerox company. I was then asked a series of question l like previous post Adie Sims above. I have worked for Xerox before, so I decided to just look for postions on my own at the Xerox website, and then I decided to google Xerox work from home scams I was brought here. I didn't go any further after reading what I see here.

As the others have posted, I also am a victim of this scam. The gentleman said his name was Brennon Mark. What can I do to recoup my money? Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to resolve this problem. Please let me know if there is something I can do to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

My account was hacked on 6-26-21 around midnight night. I never recovered my account until about 6-8 weeks later. I never worked for your company or mat anyone from your company. I'm not a hacker. I'm still getting help with doing anything on the internet. What is Laserfiche? This is my 1st time finding out about this today 1-26-21. When I Google my name.

So I answered a add on Facebook for a work at home job and they asked me to download the telegram app and this is how it went but it initially came from a older lady by the name of Kimberly Parker Kelly

Im glad I seen this while I am currently being interviewed t o work from home at $20.00. All the questions are the same and its the same name Suzan Morno-Wade. She is sending my information over to see if I am responsible enough fro the job. I as well had to install telegram. Surprise I was offered the position. Shawmika Murray posted the job on Facebook.Its sad that in a time like this as if things aren't hard enough to be had by someone.

Saw an ad on Long Beach Community for Work at home opportunity with Xerox. They did a “phone” interview, which was on Telegram, and completely via text.
Here’s a transcription of what was said.
At the end the request $250 for a tracker and a brand new MacBook Pro.
Seems dubious to me a company asking for money upfront.
They requested no references and did no video or phone interview before I received an “offer” for data entry position.

Saw an ad on Facebook for work at home for Xerox, I've saved all the information. They asked me if I had Telegram app to do an interview, said I was hired and asked for personal info. It got me thinking, due to the amounts of misspelling and punctuations. I was applying for a data entry job and they said I was hired at $25 an hour, seemed bogus at that point.

Saw a job post on one of Facebook group and I had commented for more info for this job opportunity. Person PM me on Facebook messenger asking what position I was trying to apply for then ask if I had "Google Hangouts" for interview/information wise. Ask if I could send a message on there but person have not responded. So I blocked the individual and thought it probably a scammer.
