I initially applied to an indeed listing for a company called testingDX (TestingDX.com), they gave my info to this scam, which I thought was for Xencor.com, however they scammers were using a fake site to send emails from an email called Xencorhealth.com. It was for a work from home job listing for an IT Technician, they had me "interview" via an app called signal on 3/17/25 and said I was approved the next day (3/18/25). After this they provided "employment paperwork" which included a fake Xencor employment contract, direct deposit paperwork, and IRS paperwork. I filled it out and returned it, then they sent me a false check. They then asked me to deposit the check via mobile deposit, and asked me to forward payment to a vendor to purchase equipment via zelle before the check cleared.
