Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

A man from wholesale industrial tape called our business on 8/21/20 at 10:44am. He went on and on about how he got promoted and is going on a trip to Hawaii, went on and on about this and then said that he was sending us out a target gift card in the mail for $75.00. I asked why and he said because he is moving and he wants to show how appreciative he is to all his old customers. I told him no that's ok we don't need that and he started telling me he would throw in 6 rolls of the tape they sell, I said no we do not need any, he said he would bill us for up to 60 days for this tape cause he was so convinced we'd love it. I at this point hung up the phone on him. I knew then it was a giant scam. We had this same type of scam call from this exact company a few years back. They randomly sent us a bunch of rolls of tape in the mail and then tried to bill us for them. We sent them back to them. This is crazy that we have to even put up with such a crazy scam.
