I applied for an advance fee loan from Watson Credit Company, was told I qualified and I sent them an advance fee off $1500.00 via e-Transfer. I was later told I needed to insure the loan at a cost of $999.53 which I paid via an e-transfer. I never heard from them again and i'm unable to make contact. The phone number says to leave a message however, the message box is full and they don't respond to my emails. I have a copy of the loan contract I signed and sent to them as well as the insurance contract.

Do I have any options to try get my money back.

Yes call your bank tell them what happened and have them flagged as fraud with your bank. If they have your void cheque please open a new account and transfer everything over. This is the only way we can beat them I have done the same I have also reported them to the national fraud dept, the RCMP, equifax and Transunion. It’s work but they Stole your money and have your identity. It is worth the time.

August 17, 2020 I was approved by Watson Credit Co I trusted them signed the loan documents the secured payment into the loan of $20,000 was $1,500 I asked how can this money get to you they said by email etransfer then on August 18, 2020 I received another email that I had to put an insurance on this loan in the amount of $999 which I did not accept I told Sara Douglas that I wanted a full refund then Allyssa from Watson Credit Co contacted me that my refund of $1,500 will be deposited back into my bank account beginning of September as of today I still haven’t received my refund

My wife applied for a loan through this company for our family to purchase a house they approved her with a private lender with 3 different ways of securing the loan 1 collateral they wanted a 2018 car in her name paid off or 2 cosigner or 3 a security deposit of $$$ so we tried to get a family member n we we’re going to go that way but unfortunately at the time we had a family member pass away n had to go with a security deposit instead n we were able to communicate with 2 different women through the process Alissa scott n Stephanie. Then we have tried to call n email them but no response

This is not a reputable company my wife and I can’t get them to respond or answer us about refunding our security deposit
I don’t recommend anyone trusting anything they say

They seemed to be professional but have not been

Was contacted to get a loan. Gave this company 1500 for security and they then wanted more for insurance (800) and when I told them they already had my life savings, they are impossible to reach, make every excuse in the book, (isolating from covid was her last one) and no return of my money. This company has devastated ne. I haven't had a dime since this happened and I borrowed from my daughter, who has 3 small kids. Real nice.
