Type of a scam: Government Agency Imposter

This is a scam that is trying to convince you it is the official way to obtain a copy of your Kansas birth certificate - I spoke to Kansas Department of Health (KDHE) and was told they are aware of this company however once they address issues with the company then the company changes it's name and email address. I could find no phone number for this company - unfortunately once I discovered this was not the official Kansas site the $40 charge was already processed on my card. - Basically they charge $40 to supply the official Kansas application form which is free on the state website. When this company finally answered my email the above email address was on the reply. a Disclaimer is at the bottom of "David Customer Service Department" email noting company is "a privately owned website that is not affiliated with,not owed or operated by any government agency" - too bad that is not on their website where birth certificates can be "ordered". The website led me to believe the $43 fee - later dropped to $40 - included 2 copies of the birth certificate - when in fact NO copies were included. I spoke to Jason Mathewson @ KDHE and he said unfortunately they have seen with scam with many companies and try to catch them but then the email/names are changed and they show up again. I am very cautious about ordering items such as this online - and this one fooled me/
