They or their partner Rock River Partners Firm (Des Moines Iowa) call and tell you they have guaranteed purchaser for your timeshare in Mexico.. They seem and act very professional. After wiring supposed Mexican realestate taxes etc I contacted an online lawyer and was informed that their addresses are bogus, Vinter and Rock River are the same. Rock River Partners Firm agent : David Stevens (fake) and Vinter: Ronald Graham (fake). They have very nice websites but are less that one year old and only paid up for one year . They also are not a registered firm in either state.

Rock River Partners is a timeshare re-sell company that works with Vinter Trust & Assets to scam folks out of money in return for a false promise. Rock River Partners contacts you to let you know they have a second hand buyer who wants to purchase your timeshare for a nice profit. They told me the company wishing to purchase mine was based out of Canada and was doing it for a tax write off. They ask you to sign an Assignment for Lodging Right and Services contract which I have attached. They asked me for $3,900 which is the transfer fee required by my resort, Vidanta. That part is legitimate except they never use the money to cover the transfer fee with the resort. Rather, they continue to come up with more reasons why you need to send them more money knowing they do not have a buyer and have no intention of holding up their end of the agreement. They use a company allegedly called Vinter Trust & Assets out of Denver, CO as their title/closing company. They are part of the scam too and I have reported this to the Colorado AG office and Iowa AG office. This is all part of the Mexican Timeshare Re-Sell Scam and unfortunately, many folks have been victimized including myself.
