Carmen claimed there was a fee to cancel a trial I never signed up for

Ordered their Gummy Bear product on 5/27 for "postage only" cost of $6.95. Received email showing there were 2 orders for $6.95 rather than the one expected. On 5/30 called 877-667-8190 to inquire and spoke with Carmen. Was told that the second charge was for a 30-day trial and that I would have to pay a fee to cancel. After some animated conversation on my part, including the words "have you ever seen the inside of a jail cell", and after two brief holds to consult with her supervisor, Carmen said they would waive the fee.

Company claims free sample of product just pay $6.95 for shipping. I paid and I received the product 6 days after ordering. On the 8th day after ordering I received a charge on my card for $119.95. After talking to a customer service representative from a third party, I was informed that when I ordered the product that I had 7 days from the time of the order to cancel and return the product. That gave me 1 day to try the product because it took 6 days to get it through the mail. All of the information about 7 day trial and return was hidden in a fine print disclosure on the website of the company. Needless to say I contacted them on the 8th day when I saw the charge but by the time I could contact my bank the next day $119.95 had already been taken from my checking and now the company says it's my fault for not reading the fine print. I'm out $119.95 for a product that doesn't even work as they claim. They draw you in with their $6.95 price and if you don't read the almost hidden fine print they take you for an extra $119.95

Had the same experience this week. They say there is wording in their 'agreement', but I don't recall seeing anything about $119. The customer service line said they have refunded my payment and are cancelling by 'subscription'. I'd expect them to send you an email before they ship anything else just to confirm and give you fair warning. I just wanted to trial to see how it worked. Haven't really taken it long enough to know.
