Type of a scam Employment

I am in the process of job hunting and have gotten many different texts/emails, so I originally did not think anything of it. This was a Data Entry Clerk position at Veana Therpeutics where an HR representative named Kaitlyn Young contacted me asking if I was interested in the position. This was a very elaborate scam and extremely believable. First they had me take some online quiz for the position. She reached out to me a couple days later saying I got the job, no interview. She sent me a job offer with the company letter head and everything. However, I realized this was a scam when she then asked me to download an app called Telegram to further communication. I assume that’s where she was going to ask me to purchase equipment and ask for banking information. She also sent

me some employee portal where I was able to sign in and it was quite believable. Once I emailed back saying I would like to connect on Linkedin, she never replied. It seems as if the company is real, however this position was not. Always be aware that a company will NEVER ask you to communicate through a third party messenger app. I looked up this specific name for the company scam and saw nothing, so I wanted to include it here for everyone.
