After "applying" and receiving a position as Data Entry, I was given access to a company portal: https://vasadebiosciences.org/employeeportal/public/dashboard (which has since shut down).
Once the "job" went through, they requested that I pay for my equipment myself. They sent me over emails of checks, which were received and processed by my bank. This was odd, as scans of checks should not work. However, as I was not losing any of my own money, I continued with the payments. Each one was flagged by my bank as fraud, and I received calls afterwards to confirm the payments.
Since the money landed, I have not received any emails, telegram messages, or calls. I am reporting their "company" presence on every platform I can find.

After signing the form, I was given a check to deposit via online bank app and would then communicate how to order the supplies. The check was never processed and heard no reply after several emails and inquiries to Elizabeth.

They then got back to me surprisingly quick. This is what the email read:
"A decision about your employment was made sooner than expected as we need to fill this position as soon as possible.
Please find attached the terms and conditions of your employment.
Should you accept this offer, kindly sign and return the signed copy to me via email.
We look forward to having you on board and are excited to have you join our team."
The offer letter looked real and was signed by Dorothy Vatner (who is a real person and associated with the research organization).
After I signed the offer letter they sent me another email:
"Thank you for sending over the signed offer letter.
I'll also need you to provide me with the following information for proper registration on the employee portal:"

I was weary at this point but sent them the information. They "set me up in the employee portal" and asked me to sign in to make sure everything was working on my end.

They then sent me this email:
"I'll also need you to setup a Telegram account (if you do not have one already) as we are going to be communicating through Telegram until your home office is completely setup, then we can effectively communicate via the company email. I hope you understand."
On the employee portal was the information that I gave them and a location to enter bank information (which i did not do) and a note saying that my W4 forms would be emailed to me and needed to be filled out prior to my start date on June 14th.
This was the most legitimate scam ive ever experienced. Dont fall for it. Stay safe out there.
