UVS Recovery & Litigation Reports & Reviews (1)

Jennifer Brooks called on Tuesday (8/23/16) (her number 952-666-1061) told me to call back UVS recovery and litigation (1-855-210-1658) about an outstanding debt and that today was the last day to handle the matter. I called UVS and they notified me that I had a past debt from over 5 years ago for a pay day loan. They told me that with interest/fees/principal that I owed over $4K from roughly a $300 balance. The guy on the phone kept telling me that I could get it taken care of for $1K. He proceeded to tell me that they were about to turn it over to the sheriff's department for civil processing and that I had committed wire/mail fraud unless I paid the balance. He proceeded to call the sheriff department with me on the line about how much all the fees would be if I didn't handle this. He then transferred me over to the processing center to collect payment. Meanwhile I looked up UVS recovery and litigation on google and noted that it wasn't a legitimate company based off what people were saying. The guy talking had an answer for everything, and even for me who is an accounting professional it seemed legitimate. I have the voicemail from Jennifer Brooks original call if that's helpful. My dad and I both received a call from a man named Tim from National Recovery (952-373-4786) saying that they were looking for me and he told my dad that they had looked all over campus for me. He pointed me to call back UVS recovery litigation and that I needed to handle this matter or could meet him at the court house in Blue Earth County. I have this voicemail from Tim as well if that's helpful.
