News article listed Melania Trump's new book for sale on 2 websites. USA Memorabilia was one of the 2 sites. Placed order for one special edition signed Melania book for a total of $278.75 on 11-7-24. Contacted the site and on 11-27-24 they stated orders were shipping early December. 12-16-24 they responded to my requesting an ETA for my wife's Christmas gift. No ETA. Wrote to [email protected] to report a possible scam on 12-25-24 ... no reply to date. Our credit company provided a phone number for the company's charge but had no address. Online search revealed that the phone belonged to an individual in New Jersey at a private residence.

Wrote to [email protected] and [email protected] to confirm an address and contact information. No reply.

ICANN reports that USA Memorabilia domain has had all its contact name and address information redacted for privacy reasons.

Scam Detector website gives USA Memorabilia a very low rating of 48.7/100.

Thus far our credit card bank - Chase Bank – has been unable to provide the name and address of the company that charged our card.

https://www.officialusa.com/names/Laurie-Touhey/ records show that the phone number provided by Chase bank for the charge was (201) 694-8348 and belongs to a Laurie Touhey, 2 Meda P1, Midland Park, NJ 07432.

ScamPulse.com reports that they can not process a complaint without a confirmed address.

This does appear to be a scam.
