Claiming that the US Treasury has selected me to receive $9000. I told them not to call me anymore because it was scam. They insisted that it wasn't a scam. But it is. The US Treasury would never give away free money.

Also they would call from another city in your state claiming you have won a free grant that you don't have to pay back. Told them not to call my number. If they call your cell, you have to call your provider and have them block the number.

Received a pre-recorded message on May 5,2016 at 10:51 am stating that this was a final notice from the US Treasury that a legal case has been filed against my name for tax fraud and to call them back on the hotline as soon as possible before it goes to federal claims court or get arrested. The call came in from Homestead, Florida and the person to contact is officer Briana Scott 786-650-0448. I did not call!

Caller left message on my answering machine regarding an enforcement action by United States Treasury basically threatening an appearance before a magistrate judge of the grand jury for a federal criminal offense. They had a Russian type accent and left a phone number to call back on, 347-418-0597. No specific target was identified, just "intending receivers attention". The caller "advised us to cooperate" and "help us help you".
