My name isn’t Jennifer & I don’t have a vehicle in my name. I didn’t call the number or click on the link because I was afraid that it was a scam. I searched the phone number & discovered that it’s associated with scammers.

Text message sent from a random number claiming to be a debt collector from Harris & Harris on behalf of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission asking to pay off a balance owed. Link goes to an insecure website. Didn’t open it but I knew it wasn’t for me because I live in a different state.

I received a text message from this company, acting to be affiliated with Comcast & Co. that I would start receiving texts from Harris & Harris "on behalf of Comcast & Company." I am concerned because a few months ago, I received another fraud attempt from another company, claiming that they were acting on behalf of Comcast.

Received a series of text messages stating I was now in debt collections with Harris & Harris on behalf of Charter Comms (Spectrum) and to click a link to pay my balance. The text also addressed me by a different name than mine. A few days later, I received another text to return my Spectrum equipment for a credit to my account.

On 6/08/2026 at 11:39 AM central time I received a text first stating that I would now be getting texts from Harris & Harris a debt collector on behalf of spectrum. I then got a second text stating that I could pay only 70% of my balance for spectrum. I clicked the first link which was just terms and conditions but not second link to take me to where I needed to pay the balance.

I have no clue what any of it is.

Three more texts have come all starting with "********,...." and now the amount is up to $291.08.
