I was called by a man describing himself as a representative of the US Department of Government Grants. He said that I had been selected by them to receive a grant in the amount of $9200.00. I was given a code number & was instructed to call another phone number which was 202-810-5546 & give them the code.I was then told that I needed $250 to pay for transfer fees & taxes. To do this transaction I was to go to the Western Union office & pay the money & I would get the total from above. I immediately called the ScamPulse.com but they had closed at noon. At that point I googled the phone number & saw where there had been complaints filed against them for doing the same thing. I told him that I could not do this until tomorrow. Later in the evening I was called by another man saying he was the Manager. His call was from Yucaipa,Ca. Phone # 909-570-8196. He was trying to get me to give him a checking account # which of course I would not do. He wanted me to only contact him tomorrow when I was able to carry out the transaction.Just thought you should know what is going on so you can warn the public. Thank you, Catheryn White
