I called the number that came up when I Googled Dish Network. My new remote wasn't syncing with my receiver. I was told I would have to pay $106.00 for a new receiver or "streamline" my billing thriugh AT&T/Direct TV because the new remote they sent was a different "version" than my receiver!! I ended the call, called a different number for Dish and my problem was resolved in about two minutes.
Clearly, the fisrt number I called was a scam.

Phone:used my cell number
Address:Unsure, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, USA
Type of a scam:CryptoCurrency
The criminal used my phone number via illegal porting scam to take my phone number and login to my accounts and empty my coinbase and voyager accounts. 75k loss on my end
I received an email about health insurance, and open enrollment lasting until May 15, 2021. I was asked to put in my name and phone number and then was given a number to call to speak with a 'licensed insurance agent'. The agent told me that I could get a 'multi plan PPO through UHC' for $254/month and listed off reasonable co-pays, preventative, prescription and emergency coverage. They took a credit card number to charge for first month and to be charged each month for the 'policy'. They said I would receive an email within 24-48 hours, which I did, and as soon as I got it I knew it was indeed a scam (which I was already thinking had happened). They said I would get cards in 10-14 business days. When I googled 'Multiplan', its website had a bar at the top that said it is NOT health insurance and when I clicked on 'learn more' it listed numerous scams occurring using multi plan.

I answered call- they said I was on a recorded line and ask if I could hear them?- I answered “Yes”. Without thinking- I am concerned that they recorded my “Yes” and can use it against me. They told me someone in my household was eligible for free hearing aides. I said no need. They went on to say for my time they would give me a free Cruise ship voucher in return for telling all my friends what a great experience I had. At that point I hung up.

This number called me multiple times with a repeating prerecorded message saying I have a third party threatening my network security. Upon calling to be placed on a do not call list, I was told that the company knows my IP address and they're threatening my network and my Window license.
I think that I just received the 'yes' phone scam. The caller asked if I was Robert and hung up promptly after I said yes.

Got a call from an unknown number but I answered it because I was expecting a call from my bank. I said hello and she said "I was having trouble with my headset can you hear me?" I am pretty sure I said yes but I also hung up right away. They did not call back.

They called impersonating Pepco, our electric company for our business. The contact information is 202-796-6736 ext. 1706. Ask for Mr. Jason Taurus. That is the "account manager" that impersonates Pepco. They insisted that our business was about to be disconnected due to unpaid bills, and that we had to -wire- money to them ASAP in order for them to cancel their technicians.
