This is the third time this company has called. They are using a number from within our organization so that they get through to individuals. They start with a phone tree option to 1) speak with membership services or 2) pass up this great offer! I have selected #2 the first two times, and today I chose #1 and told them to add me to the do not call list. They hung up on me mid sentence.

These people sound like Africans. They already have your phone number and some of your personal information and pretend to be the IRS Internal Revenue Service.

- Kingman, KS, USA

620-491-3350 appears to be a local Kingman, KS cell phone number. Twice now I've gotten a call to "lower your credit card interest rate, click 1 now to speak to a representative"

I do not have a credit card at all. When asked to be removed, they hang up.

Please keep this phone number from being able to contact a vulnerable person that might give their credit card number and god help them if they hand over their personal information as well.

I try calling the number back and get a busy signal. Perhaps with your higher-to-be authority, you can block this number.

Thank you

These people keep calling me asking me to renew my car warranty and if I wish to renew it I can send a payment - and today (which seems to be almost every they call me) is the last day to renew it before it expires.

Texted my mother and other family members with the last four of my social security number saying I need to call immediately about allegations against me. They never contacted me personally. When I tries to call amd ask questions the lady said they had me under constant video surveillance, I laughed and she hung up. Concerned about how they're getting my social and family members numbers!

Received call and the person asked for Ms. Patricia. I said it was the wrong number. Another person then got on the line and said "Is this the wrong number?: I answered yes. I am now worried they will use this recorded "yes" to conduct fraudulent activity on my cell phone, bank accounts and credit cards or sign me up for unknown subscriptions or order merchandise.

We received a phone call today on our cell phone. Since we did not recognize the number we did not answer. The phone displayed that the call came from 206-279-2654. They left a short voice mail message telling us that there are four serious allegations against us and that the cops will come and pick us up and that we should call 206-279-2654 immediately and they would tell us what to do. I tried dialing the number on our VOIP phone which does not identify us to the person being called and was not able to get their phone to ring. It looks like a sophisticated scam.

A scammer hacked a family member's Facebook messenger account. Through the Facebook messenger exchange, I gave my phone number to the imposter (before realizing it was a scam). The imposter texted me from the phone number (919) 374-0219. I have since called my family member to confirm they were hacked. I am blocking the scammer's phone number and blocking messaging from this account on Facebook.

Consumer almost became a victim of a puppy scam. Scammer's website was pottycutebabies01.com (which does not work anymore). Scammer's phone number was (571)441-2094 and email was [email protected]. Scammer said that he was located in Norfolk, VA. Consumer call BBB Hampton Roads and it was determined that the business did not exist in Virginia. Consumer wanted to order a purebred pitbull puppy online and the scammer was selling one for $500.00 on the website. Scammer was pressuring consumer for their credit card number to pay processing fees upfront.

The BBB of Greater Hampton Roads, Inc. researched the website information provided by the consumer.  It was revealed that the website is now for sale and the name is for a devise to help potty train a child.

These people are calling to let me know that they can help since I have back pain.

Since they know that I have Medicare, I would be eligible for benefits. I asked them to stop calling me and hung up.

Tried to get me to give bank info to wire a grant. I called number back and the number was disconnected

A person called from 512-377-6969 and demanded that I call back or I would face legal action. I didn't. They called again within less a hour, and I sent it to my answering machine. They left a message demanding that I call back and that if I didn't, I would face legal action. They also said to NOT ignore them.

Long story short the gentleman wanted to book a client of mine and his band for a wedding for his daughter. He asked to pay by credit card and then asked if what kind of card reader we had because Paypal and Apple scanners have stolen his information. I then asked him for his email address and for him to email me his daughters name contract signatory phone number and anything else having to do with the wedding. He wanted me to email him rather. Then he asked if we could then cover the event planners see with his credit card and then write a check to the event planner which presumably was him trying to get all of the money for the date. I told him that we would pass on the date and thank you for trying to scam us
