Scammer stating they have a back brace that was approved by medicare and the need to delivered the back brace by UPS. All they need was our client's address at the group home. There were variations to this, such as we just needed to say, "Yes," so the brace would be delivered. No information was given to the scammers, but we are still getting 5+ calls per day from this scam company for over 1 year.

- Brumley, MO, USA

Caller left me a voice mail saying that my social security number was used in fraudulent activity.

This client Olivia Taylor keeps contacting me through the ScamPulse.com page and I think it’s a scam. The email address that they are reaching out from is [email protected]. They’re asking me to cash a 2300 check and send them 2100 back as an error from the secretary.

- Clinton, IA, USA

I answered my business line, with the name of my department, and my first name. They then asked "Jane Doe?" (not my real name), to which I answered yes, and the caller hung up! My affirmative response may be used later to try to pass through charges or initiate other scams.

- Charleston, SC, USA

Have received repeated voice mails, all from 414 area code. Message is partial, no business name is mentioned nor was I addressed by name.

Message says that if I don't call them back, I've "waived my right to counsel" and they will forward information on to state I live in.

- Sacramento, CA, USA

My wife received a phone call from

The number I’m reporting. She didn’t answer. A couple of minutes later, I received a call on my cell phone from the same number.

The caller asked “Hi, can you hear me?”

I replied “Yes.”

Caller “I’m sorry, I’m getting static. I’ll have to call you back.”

Apparently there is a scam where fraudsters record your “yes” answer to make unauthorized charges to your credit cards etc.

- Saint Louis, MO, USA

When I received a call they were able, despite my better judgment, to get me to say yes and then they hung up. I haven't noticed any untoward activity yet.

- Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA

I received a phone call on my cell phone that went to voicemail. I had trouble understanding the message but after listening to it a few times It was a recording demanding I call them back at this number 1-682-651-8773 before they proceeded with legal action against me. I did NOT call the number back there is no reason for someone to have legal action against me.

- Hewitt, TX, USA

“So when you get this message revert us back as soon as possible on our number before we begin with the legal proceedings that is 424-781-9607 I repeat 424-781-9607 thank you and have a nice day…

I called and asked who they are, and what they were planning to sue me about. He asked if I received the call on the number I was calling from. I replied that it was on the phone I called on. He asked for my first and last name. I asked for his name. He said he was Officer (he gave a name that I couldn’t understand and annid number that I didn’t record). He kept trying to get personal information, and I kept trying to get a business name. He asked again for my name, and I said, “I think this is a scam, so no.” I then hung up.

Name, address, phone number, & email addresses collected for the promise of shipping and titling purposes.

No social given after above raised suspect to true intent

- Quarryville, PA, USA

Knew my name, asked few questions, single etc, how much I made, stated something about medical equipment. Told him conversation over, on DNC and not to call again. Tried to call back and just rang and rang, no answer. SCAM

- Columbia, MO, USA

Calling to present threatening message on immigration related issues. It is quite clear the message is fake as the Immigration and Natural Service will not use such call to conduct business. The malicious act whoever constantly making the call could truly impact new comers to US as they may be familiar with the INS system, and I truly fell the frequent calls to both office phone and cell phone is a harassment.

The phone number used to call my office is 8008738546, and the number used to call my cell phone is 800 909 2233. And the call came within several minutes apart. The same call came many times in the past several months, although I don't recall if it came from the same number.

- Brooksville, FL, USA

They everyday trying to sell a brace through Medicare. Asked them to stop calling because I already have a brace and I’m on the do not call list. They insisted they had to keep calling because a friend or relative gave them my number.

- Columbia, MO, USA

- Monument, CO, USA

On March 3, 2019, I received a phone call at 0738 Mountain Time. The caller asked "Is this So-and-so" and without thinking I said yes. The caller immediately hung up. At that point I suspected this was one of those scam phone calls where the get you to say "yes" then hang up. A few minutes later, I called the number and, sure enough, I got a recording saying something like "This phone number is no longer in service, thank you for calling." Now, I knew it was a phishing phone call. So, I wanted to immediately make this report just to document the fact that this happened and to warn others. So far, nothing has come of it, but it's only been a short time since the call.

Claimed to have legal suits against me and asked to call them back at the number so that I could resolve.

- Cleveland, OH, USA

I received 2 robocalls from Social Security regarding fraud to my account and saying I needed to call back within 24 hours. When I called back I was asked for my birthday and social security number. I did not provide the information.
