Universal Air Logistics is a Fraudulent puppy transport scheme

I inquired about a puppy through a Facebook ad. The seller sent several pictures via email and asked questions about our home situation.

We paid $800 for a cavapoo puppy that was not received. The payment was made to Mbuchu Dingao (Cavapoo Family Puppies) via Zelle per their request. They stated they are in Colorado and that the puppy would be flown to our nearest airport and then driven to our home. They sent a confirmation number and link to Universal Air Logistics and said that they would arrive to our home by 10 pm. A few hours later I received an email then call from Donny of Universal Air Logistics. He said that the puppy was being detained pending our refundable payment of $1,490 for life insurance that is required by the U.S Aviation Commission. When I refused to pay, Donny stated ask if I am abandoning the puppy? I said I am not abandoning the puppy but am resting his extortion attempt. I called the contacted the breeder/seller who appeared surprised and said he would find out about it. He got back with me saying that he spoke with UAL who explained the need and that it was a refundable payment and insisted they are not scammers. I demanded a refund, but, of course, he hasn’t responded.

Universal Air Logistics is a fraud

I "bought" a puppy from Cynthiapuppyfarm.com (which has now removed the website) in which they set up shipment through universal air logistics. First, they wanted $1000 for crate rental and deposit, paid that. 5 hours later they needed another $1000 for city permit and a Giardia vaccination. After calling and disputing such charge and being told that if not paid it would be pet abandonment. I paid it. got an email stating that everything was good to go puppy would be at my doorstep at 5:30 pm. after waiting until 8 pm and still no dog I called this shipping company. I was then told that the puppy could not fly for 4 hrs after the shot so it would arrive today at noon. I took the day off work to receive delivery of the puppy. I get up this morning to another email saying they needed another $1000 for state required insurance. That is when i had had enough. I always said I would never buy a dog online. And this is the reason why. If this "company" is involved cut your losses don't send them money!
