Tried to book a flight from kayak website, it compared it with other websites and this one came up the cheapest showing as sky scanner. I filled out the information and it stated that I would get an email confirmation within 24hrs. After 20 mins a person calls me with a 209 area code from Stockton, CA in the states. He claimed it wasn’t a guaranteed flight and that I would have to pay $1,800.00 for an upgraded guaranteed flight. I declined and said it was too expensive. He said it was non refundable. Something told me something wasn’t right so I canceled my credit card right on the spot and hung up the phone. Since he has my information he kept calling my phone and I didn’t answer. He called about 20 times within a 2 hour span. He left numerous voice mails, stating he could get me cheaper price and to call him back. The last voicemail he left he said he will charge me for the original flight plus the new one. I never called back after I reverse looked up the phone number that was in his email asking me to call him since I wasn’t answering the phone and found out it was scam.
