Tom is the owner of Tip Top Paving. I was offered an estimate to redo my driveway. I was looking to have this work done and accepted his estimate. He wrote up a contract with a date of construction completion, cost of new driveway, and the cost of the initial deposit (which was to be deducted from total cost upon completion). I wrote him a check for his required deposit amount $600.00 and he cashed it that day. The work was to be completed in April and we are now at the end of June and he is nowhere to be found. I called and asked for my refund since the work wasn't done and he told me he'd be by on a specific date and still he was a no show. Bottom line is Tom took my money for no services/work performed and is gone! He never had any intention of doing the job he was hired for. I'm so frustrated!!
