A person calling themselves Jake Branch with West Capitol, email listed is heloc.westcapitallending.com, has been talking with us regarding the refinance for lower payments. We only gave DOB for my husband . But I saw email and noticed spelling errors and he's stopped talking. I looked up West Capitol and he's not listed as an employee. I'm afraid we have been scammed. I need to report this immediately. Jake Branch is communicating through a phone number listed at 949-570-5927.

The scammer posed as the company Tyto Athene LLC and reached out to offer an interview after I applied to what appears to be a legitimate job posting on Indeed. They then instructed me to download Webex to communicate and had me complete a 2.5 hour virtual job interview, where I recorded myself answering questions, recorded audio of myself and typed answers to questions. They then explained that HR would review my responses and respond the next day with feedback and my employment status. They reached out stating that I had been offered the position and gave very detailed accounts of what would come next, I have included the link where hey are having people answer questions and record themselves: https://tinyurl.com/2s4h4vt8 The also asked for personal information and now have my name, email address, phone number name of my bank and my home address.

We saw a Yeti cooler that said it was from Sam's club on Facebook. When I order the backpack cooler, it asked for my mailing address and credit card number. When the I tried to put the payment through, Navy Federal Declined it stating it was possible fraud. I did not allow the purchase to go through but behold on Aug 26 the recharged my card for $49.80 and it did go through. When the charge came through it did not say Sams Club, but Playful Toy Place. I called the bank and reported it as fraud, and we looked up where it was being charged and that's when we saw Playful Toy Place. I looked it up and they do have a website, https://www.playfultoyplace.com/. I called the customer service number, 855 694 7440, and they said they didn't charge me, but they did. I sent the support department, [email protected], an email with proof that they did charge me, but they never replied, so I reported it as fraud to my bank. Well today, Sept 28, this same company is trying to charge my card again for another $49.80. I called the bank and they are putting in another claim, but they told me to contact you to let you know that this is not a legitimate company. When I google the address: 5625 N German Church Rd., Unit 214, Indianapolis, IN 46235, USA, it is showing an empty lot for sale. I am closing my account so they cannot charge me again. However, they do have my Name and Mailing address. This company name may be legit, as they sell stuff on Amazon, but there is someone using their info to scam people out of their money.

I was contacted via text and it's a scam. The scammer wanted me to click on the link in the text so they could hack my bank account to steal all of my money. This is what the text stated:

Someone posed as UPS and asked for a redelivery fee. Bank details say it’s from Hong Kong, China

Sender appeared to be from USPS, but stated name as U.S Postal System (Not use of periods after US). Text stated that "U.S Postal System" tried to deliver package but could not find my address. Then outlined a Redelivery Fee and asked for credit card information. I did not reply and closed the text.

text message was as follows:

(my phone number)

INTERAC e-Transfer

ICBC#1553V7131 sent you money.

See (above linked web address but don't click it i sure didn't) . Data rates may apply.

They are using my pictures and name to create fake Instagram and Facebook accounts then lure ppl in with promises of pornography in exchange for money…Once they sign up these scammers steal credit card information from these people. This will ruin my reputation and relationships or possibly put me in danger. Instagram WILL NOT take it down. This is identity theft and no one will help me!!
