Type of a scam Online Purchase

I think I’m finally getting good at identifying a scam in my middle-age…My husband and I are looking for a tractor, and he found one at “thepremiumwheels.com” from a Facebook ad. It asked for info before buying, so he sent info and then they called today. I heard him on speakerphone talking to the guy (Indian, heavy accent). He said he’s in St. Paul, and they own the inventory. We were told we couldn’t come look at the tractor (we’re in St. Paul as well) because of “online business rules”. My husband said yeah that doesn’t sound right. I said absolutely there is NO way this is legit….I decided to call them, and the reviews are all fake, citing some guy named “James” so I asked to speak to James. He clearly got flustered wondering how I got the name, so I decided to help the scammer out a bit, and said “you know, because your references are all about James”. He goes “oh uh he’s not in”. It was sketchy as all get-out, and I searched the phrase “thepremium wheels.com” and found ONE review here about it, thankfully. Apparently they operated under another website previously, and I searched that one too (gearsgarage.com) and they’ve scammed a bunch of people as well.

RUN away, now I’m concerned that they have my husband’s email and will try to hack into something of his….
