Call keeps calling stating that they need to update my tax file and that we can qualify for forgiveness under an IRS fresh start program. The caller is obviously AI and calls from many different numbers with the same message using different contacts, I have been contacted by "Brad" and "Lucy" asking that I call them back on their direct line 833-727-4244. They will request your personal information if you contact them back.

I have gotten a call everyday sometimes twice a day for past week and a half where they claim I requested a loan and they are trying to reach me. I searched the number on google and saw others reported the same scam.

I was told to call this number to retrieve my agi pun number for the year 2025 tax return for my taxes to be done on freetax ny. She told me the only way she can retrieve my pin is to overide the system. I gave her my information emailed all tax return license number and my picture. I asked her why she needed this information, she just told me she was overriding the pin which i thought i can go back to my tax form free tax of newyork to by pass the pin. At the end, i e signed everything and didnt read that she charged me almost 500.00 to do my taxes which i didnt to be done. She tricked me into everything. Im only getting back 200.00 in Federal now which was suppose to be over 900.00 through the free tax new york. Im extremely upset. I worked hardbfor that money and needed it. That company tricks people and taking money for services that werent asked to do. Please help me
