Type of a scam Online Purchase

We reached to out Swing Buggy to make an online purchase for a used UTV. The item posting was found via a trusted website, www.atvtrader.com. It was late when we sent the email but someone responded right away, so we took that to mean the person was motivated to sell. After sending an email to confirm price and shipping, we "purchased" the item online. We were sent an invoice with a contact name and number for a Bobby Hill. We looked this person up and found him, not with the business, but related. We were given an official looking invoice with instructions to send payment via Zelle. Since the item was used and reasonably priced, we figured this was because they didn't take credit cards nor financing was used. That first payment with through. When we went to make the second payment, our bank would not send the Zelle payment because they flagged it as a scam.We decided to do some more digging and could not verify the address, phone number, the Zelle recipient. Upon further digging there were misspellings on the website, inaccurate addresses (address listed as NE, MN) and out of state phone numbers listed. One phone number was from Georgia, the other from Minnesota. We made phone calls to the businesses surrounding the address provided on the website, and no one had heard of it. We have provided the information for the Zelle transfer. We have stopped payment. We want others to be aware of this scam. We do not expect to get our money and should have seen all the red flags.
