This site www.check motorcycle info.com is a fraud and a scam.

THIS IS THE LETTER I ATTEMPTED TO SEND THEM:

Placed an ad for my vintage motorcycle on Craigslist, get a response from an interested buyer “Luke” who wants to buy it, lives an hour away and needs to schedule with his wife to come. “Luke” also needs my phone #, address, and a “report specifically from www.checkMotorcycleinfo.com.

This Was very suspicious.

Filed out the basic info. On your site and it says “All info. is correct” with green check marks and ready to proceed”. Next site immediately takes you to payment?? Had thought was free like Gov. sites?

No you wanted $27.00 for a report? Unfortunately for me I did it!

After I received no report, but did receive immediately many texts from you offering 30%, 40%, and 50% discounts on stickers and reports.

Then texted the buyer that site does not work? Suspiciously he try’s to guide me tells me thru your site and instructs me on how to “use live chat option” and insists he needs your specific report before he buys the bike?

That should have been my first clue of fraud. Now you have my cell phone#, my credit card info., my e-mail, and my home address! Very clever.

When I contact you on “Live Chat” you say first the “VIN is incorrect” then another chat says you’re “experiencing technical difficulties”. 48 hours later receive your report, 8 pages long, with zero info. except the basic info. I provided you, and some simple spec. info from the internet.

When I tried to call the buyer, phone # is dead, I try to text and # is dead. How interesting you are also the shill in this scam.

When I try to call you directly, you say “press for operator” there is none, just a recording to “leave your message”. Left you a message, and never heard from you!

Looked up your site info. and see it was established in Sept. 2023, sure looks like a “take the money and run” scam, or a known “Vehicle Info. Scam”.

Also noticed you had the “TrustPilot” symbol on your site with a 4.8 score. Really? TrustPilot says there are ZERO reviews. Don’t worry, I will be the first one!

Contacted Chase Bank and notified them of this “Vehicle Info. Scam” and they were very helpful!
