Third party seller promised product at a certain price and then never sent the product. Offered airlines tickets and never delivered a confirmation number or tickets advertised when I made my purchase.

• Feb 22, 2024

I too was contacted by Travel servies incorporated. Laura Griffith was the point of contact @ 954-504-7525.
The following is the confirmation letter, or at least supposed to be that they sent me as well:

Mr Tracey Armstrong,

Here are the bullet points you requested. There are 45 trips total, you are covered for 4 adult travelers on all of them and anyone under the age of 18 travels for free. All 48 trips are completely transferable to ANYONE as long as they are 21 years of age or older for absolutely no cost! We are consolidating all these trips on ONE major lifetime consolidation plan so we can once and for all stop the bleeding and never ending cycle of reinstatement after reinstatement and most importantly, keep every last penny you have ever paid our company and vendors from going down the drain!

You have:
(6) 8 day 7 night ALL INCLUSIVE cruise, 5 different cruise lines to choose from, royal Caribbean, Norwegian, carnival, Celebrity and princess, and is an open port open destination with the option to switch to a Viking River Cruise or American River cruise. We're making this cruise interchangeable for another 8 day 7 night all inclusive resort stay.
(19) 8 day 7 night ALL INCLUSIVE resort stays with over 100 worldwide destinations.
(20) 8 day 7 night standard condo stays with over 3,000 worldwide destinations.

I'm waiving all fees attached to the trips you would otherwise be responsible for. I'm attaching a 150 dining card per person per trip. The remaining balance on the account is $1,198.00 for the total consolidation.

You have 30 days by law right to cancel if for any reason you feel like this is not working out, or the services are not what you expected we will cancel out the consolidation and give a full refund on the $1,198.00

My direct office line is 561-564-7252 do not ever hesitate to reach out to us with anything you need moving forward, there's no such thing as a bad question, and it's never a bother or inconvenience!

God Bless,
Kyle Douglas

I was attempting to cancel tickets and when I tried to contact American Airlines I googled their customer service phone number. The number I found was at the top of the Google "Sponsored" search results and (in hindsight) was a clone of the American Airlines links. I contacted them and they were VERY professional. The lady told me she could cancel my trip and that I could get a credit for the money I spent for the trip. To get the4 credit however, I would need to pay a $200 cancellation fee. I was a bit suspicious but still gave her the credit card information. She emailed me a "verification" and when I saw it I knew something was wrong. Thankfully, as I was already suspicious I had logged onto my bank app and locked my credit card immediately. I argued back and forth with here and she became belligerent and accused me of "racism".

I hung up and contacted American Airlines again, this time making sure I get the number from the correct link. They told me that this is a common scam and that they are in no way affiliated with this fake travel subcontractor.

Third party website, my fiance was booking a getaway that we have saved a long time for to go to Carmel, CA and was excited to share that she had booked 2 nights at the Intercontinental in Monterey, California. When I got home from work she told me the deal she got (which was about 400 dollars cheaper than the actual Hotels price) and my heart immediately sunk. We called the Hotel and they told us our Reservation Number should not have any dashes in it and that we had probably been scammed. I work for one of the 3 big banks here in the US that isn't Chase or BofA... Just so happens we both bank with my employer and called customer support to file a claim and try to stop payment just 3 hours after giving the crooks the debit. We tried calling the Prestigia.com customer support and the line was not even connected. I am going to include the original email from these scammers so you can see what they are up too.

Used phone to initiate car rental from Costco Travel. Used phone to obtain initial phone number (1-888-954-8030). Spoke to representative posing as Costco representative (Roger 1-844-517-1021 Ext. 7200). He posed as representative renting car and obtained information about me. He informed me that there was a rebate promotion going on. I needed to go to pharmacy or Walmart type store and purchase a green dot visa card. I obtained money and purchased they card from Walgreens. I returned his call per his instructions and gave him the information on the card. He informed me that I would receive car tomorrow morning I was to show visa card and driver's license to person that delivered the car. I informed my son of what I did and he informed me that this was a scan. I went back to Walgreens approx. 8 hrs. later and was told that they could not stop payment and I needed to call green dot at 866-795-7597. I called green dot when I got home and was put on hold for 2 1/2 hours with music playing in the background. I could not hold on any further.

I was expecting an email from a conference event host to make hotel arrangements. I received an email from Traveller Point (sometimes called Travellers Point) via PandaDoc to sign a document to secure hotel accommodations. They knew my name, email address, and dates of my arrival already. The form asked me for my name, mailing address, cell phone number, and a signature to payment terms. They also requested my business name and tax ID, but I neglected to provide that information.

The statement of agreement states that I would be responsible for 25% deposit of 409 EUR at time of booking and that other charges for 409 EUR/night would be charged 20 days prior to check in.

I conferred with the event hosts and they assured me that they have no relationship with Traveller Point and that the company has fraudulently misrepresented how it became connected to me.

I called what I thought was the Scandinavian Airlines help number after doing a Google search on my phone. The person who answered had an Indian accent and claimed to help me rebook my ticket. He sent me the email attached to confirm (identifying info redacted). I cancelled my card after I realized that it was a scam.

I have had the sad experience with these people. New names are Joshua Tobia, Tanner Ellis 561 375 3423 Andrew Anderson +1 561 375 . 3411. They have changed phone numbers and they go to only these numbers.

I have engaged a lawyer and also contacted state authorities as well as federal authorities to investigate them to shut them down and prosecute them for fraud.

Used web to search for JetBlue customer service (this was my first time flying that airline). I wanted to register a carry on pet. The charged me $500 and then when I got to the airport there was no record.

An add popped up on my Instagram on Black Friday (Nov. 25th.) Morning, under 'hyattvacayclub', for $199 per family for 3-day/2-night, Lake Tahoe. So I paid for it, and there's a page told me it'll be Northstar Tahoe, and I needed to call 866 974 0975 to confirm my date of arrival. I tried to call it but couldn't go through. On Saturday afternoon, they called me up to help me reserve the date. And then they began to ask me for information not that relevant to hotel reservation, and eventually I found out they wanted me to take a 'two-hour' real estate purchase tour of Northstar, and wanted to make sure I was able to make financial decisions. When I asked them about the hotel reservation, I was told the $199 I had paid was for a Best Western approx. 6 miles away from Northstar Tahoe. Then I realised it was a typical scam. I told him I wasn't interested and would like to cancel it, now that no reservation had been made yet, and was told that I couldn't even cancel it. So it lures people with 'hyatt' and 'Northstar', but rather it aims to put people into Best Western and sell people real estate. If this type of scam are not suspended, 'clever business model' like this may spread.

Phone number was listed to contact southwest reservations agent. When I called to confirm my flight I was told my reservation wasn’t confirmed because the price had increased and I would have to pay the difference.

Upon questioning why I wasn’t informed he apologized but kept insisting the difference had to be paid; when I kept protesting, he hung up.

I then called back and a different agent confirmed that everything was fine; there had been no change

I thought they were a legit site but they ended up being fake. paid 150 USD and shared my personal information and now they have everything!

They won't book your stay and just take your money! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS SITE! IT IS FRAUD!

I saw I had a miss call from the number I shared. I called it back. The person automatically said my name and said that I had paid for a timeshare, which I never did, and something about they can send me anywhere but Russia. So I am still trying to figure out what the heck is going on when they forward me to someone else. So I am told that I paid for a vacation package and blah blah blah. I said I have never done that I don't have dementia and am in sound mind, and this has to be identity theft, the man said no it can't be and started telling I am wrong. So I start telling him no it is and I am pursuing legal action, he got irate with me. I told him if he can't give me information so I can look into making sure I was not a victim of identity theft or fraud to send me to his manager and he said no he can't do that. He would only provide me the company name and said he had already told me 5 times. He also said it was protected under consumer protection on how I supposedly paid for such a thing. Ugh, if I am the person who paid for it, why can't you provide me with information on how I supposedly paid for it. Dummy. So ya, definitely a scam situation. Don't trust them. Oh, and they had American from the south accents.

Toby calls and refused to actually cut to the chase and tell me what the call is truly about. Mentions my name and address and refers to 2017 without specifics. I did not have this number in 2017 so it can’t be what he is currently referring to.

i was having some vacation sold by them getting the money by the end of month.

A caller calling from travel services named Jennifer, she said she worked for diamond resorts. Offered me travel packages credits however I would have to pay right then over the phone by credit card or debit card.

I have received repeated phone calls from this company indicating that they are calling about the "vacation package I purchased" ... some say it was $1000, $2000, and $5000 or more. They "claim" that we purchased a vacation but never booked it. Of course, they offer to help you out for the low price and pitch you a vacation package which includes a timeshare presentation. Packages I've been quoted range anywhere from $99 - $499 and up. They offer to send you to all sorts of places including - Miami FL, Hilton Head SC, the Carribean, etc. and of course you "get" to preview their property (that's sales speak for we're going to force you to see a timeshare presentation). Despite asking to be put on their do not call list multiple times, this company continues to call me almost daily. In addition, I did purchase a "package" from them last year and paid the $399 (stupid me) right before the COVID pandemic hit. Now they refuse to refund my money and only want to provide me with more vacations as a consolation prize. BTW - who books a vacation (even for $1000) and "forgets" about it? Seriously!

Travel Services rep Scott ******** called from a Private Caller ID and attempted to collect funds for a travel package purchased over 2 years ago. I don't recall such a purchase and my wife has been handicapped since 2017. Claimed that a purchase of $398.00 was made on March 15, 2019 and another $300.00 payment was made, but didn't identify the date. Now says we owe another $698.00. I refused to authorize the amount. I do not recall ever receiving a vacation package from this company, nor do I recall any payments to them. In review of my banking statements for 3/15/2019 time period, I observe no such payments to this or any other similar company for this amount or near this amount. I suspect this to be a scam taking advantage of older adults.
