They pretend to be your supply company on the phone and let you know that the toner you ordered is on the way. Then they invoice you for things at twice the price. We tried to return unopened UPS boxes and they would not accept unless you will accept store credit for your return.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

This company called and acted like they were the printing company that my business uses and asked a few vague questions about the make and model of printer as well as my name. Not long after that, we received an unauthorized bill for $680 for two toners they had shipped to us. Upon calling them, they very easily faxed over a shipping label to return the toners and void out our bill with no questions asked. This is clearly a scam, and being a smaller company saved us as we were quick to catch it! Beware!!

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

A company contacted an employee asking if the office had a certain copy machine device and stated they are shipping their toner. Employee stated ok. We do not know if the toner was received but we did receive an invoice for $584.99 for toner we did not need, want, or request. I spoke to the company Supply Shipping asking who called, why they called, and why the information was shipped. I explained we are a large organization that has a contract directly with our copier company for all of our supplies and we would not have ordered from an independent organization. The Supply Shipping company stated they were the middle man shipping requested supplies. I asked for which organization they work with that requested they ship the toner. They would not provide me with the answer but did state they would void the invoice. Interesting, they stated they would be contacting UPS to come and pick up the toner cartridge that was delivered. When questioned about this I was told the invoice would be voided even if we did not ship back the old cartridge.

We received fraudulent invoices for Ricoh Printer ink. I knew it was falsified because our printer ink is given internal and is free. They even went as far as to get my personal name and send the letter to my attention. It listed a customer number. See attached.
