I was texted a job offer from Dieter De Groote of a company called Strukton and they hired me and now they're requesting I cash a check that they sending me for computer equipment. They asked my name and address, phone number and no other information. No Zoom meeting or video call was set up. We communicated only through a messaging app called Signal. He emailed me a job offer letter, Form I-9, and Form W-4 through G-Mail. He's had me report to him through the signal app at 8 am my time as he said and now he's waiting for the check confirmation number that they are sending to me.
