I was contacted via email from StemCellTherapeutic.org with an offer letter. Asked for Name, address and phone number. Had me download Telegram to communicate. Asked for Cash App info which I provided. Then emailed me a check to deposit into my checking acct via my bank’s mobile app to purchase software. They also asked for my Cash App account info to verify. I provided but I am shutting down that Cash App account. I googled if this company was legit. That’s when I saw another story that was developing as mine and so I am filling out this complaint.

They had a legit job offer listed on StemCellTherapeutic.org. I applied online. They emailed me with legit sounding information. They had me do an online form and an interview/test. I received a job offer on official looking paperwork. I later went to go onto the website after accepting the job offer and it was flagged as a scam employment opportunity by the better business bureau
