Received a suspicious package from a scam company
Like others, I received a package addressed to me.
It said that it was from Jerry(001)-Yasfbara. The address was 9208 Charles Smith Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, USA.
The shipping company on the label is SpeedX.
There is a QR code on the package.
I didn't scan the code or open the package yet.
I did an online search and found that this is a known scam.
I think it is linked to an issue last week where I received an email from a friend and it turned out that their email had been hacked.

Received an unsolicited package of e-cigarettes from SpeedX
I received a small package today of e-cigarettes in a weird looking box inside and some type of liquid. Came from SpeedX with the shipper address: 2452 Gillingham Circle, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. Someone just dropped it off in front of my front door.
I didn’t order it, and I never even seen something like it before.
I didn’t open it from the worry that it could be hazardous or dangerous material in it.
What’s odd is that I don’t receive any mail at this address at all.
SpeedX is a last mile delivery service (or they claim to be) for various Chinese retailers. I’ve had two orders not arrive due to their negligence and blatant theft. The second time more egregious than the first. They never tried to deliver my items. Simply stated my address was invalid despite me confirming it with them numerous times. The first package they claim to have returned to sender. That was months ago and their tracking hasn’t updated at all and the seller hasn’t received anything. My most recent package was destroyed by SpeedX after 0 delivery attempts. They’re thieves. They won’t try to deliver your merchandise. They’ll act like they do and mark it invalid and go home with your stuff.
It all started Monday November 4th. They sent me an email stating that their delivery attempt was unsuccessful, which no one ever came because I was at home that entire day. So I contacted customer service, which happened to be and automated bot and it said 'after a delay, it takes up to 2 business days to ship your item back out' so I waited 2 days and it said processing. That's when I messaged SHEIN, because that's who I ordered my package from, they told me that the shipping company still needs time to update the delivery process and that they will also investigate the issue. So I decided to be patient. So on November 11th SpeedX sent another email saying 'failed delivery attempt' which I know is a lie because my home is not difficult to get to. So I contacted SpeedX again with the email link SHEIN had sent me to talk to a real agent, I've emailed them twice and haven't gotten not one response from them. I called the number they posted on their website and that number doesn't exist. The only response I get is from the automated bot saying 'delays take up to 2 days before they ship out again' that's not the answer I'm looking for. So I look up SpeedX and it's a lot of people that have the same issue as me, that either the company has lost or stolen packages and some even saying they've delivered to the wrong address and refuses to reach back out to them for the issue. If they do deliver they'll take a picture then pick it right back up and take the package with them. I just feel like I've been scammed out of my package and can get no help. SHEIN is doing the best they can and is issuing me a refund for my package I've ordered from them, It's a lot more, but this is just my summary

Ordered through TEMU and every other time they have used USPS. They selected Speedx for this delivery, Attempted delivery to me three times, they have no customer service info. I get a phone call at 9:44 PM saying they'll be there in a few seconds to deliver and I send my husband out. It's two people in a car who act like they're digging through their car the. Say "oops we must have forgot it at the warehouse". Is this a freaking trafficking ring or something? I want a refund. Reported to TEMU via chat they claim they'll change the shipper to USPS in the future however no response regarding the packages that went to Speedx. I think they're taking the orders themselves from TEMU and customers get no refund.

Website: Halara
Address:Elk Grove Village, IL 60007, USA
Country:United States
Total money lost:$130
Type of a scam:Online Purchase
I ordered a package from a retail company called Halara on 09/21/24 and they mailed my package through SpeedX. 1st they claimed to have attempted to deliver my package while I was at home and no one came to my house. I attempted to contact them by the email and number they provided for text messages and I received no response so I contacted Halara the company I ordered from and they ensured me that they have contacted SpeedX and that my package would be delivered on 10/09/24. When I checked the website it still said the package was at the processing center since 09/28/24. They said they attempted to deliver on 09/27/24. I want my package or the money back noone attempted to deliver my package and the reason they gave was that the address had no access when I've had packages come to my address dropped off at my door previously by Speed X. I don't understand what is going on I believe this delivery service has stolen my package.
