I have a very old account with GoDaddy that has been dormant for years. I haven't signed up for any new services in years, and yet, GoDaddy decided to automatically enroll me in some program called "SpeechFlow" ... I noticed I had multiple charges in my bank account and subsequently tried to contact them to find out what the heck I was being charged for. Long story short, I got the run around for about 3 hours, and I could not access my old account because the email and phone number associated with it were long dead. They kept saying they needed to send me a code to verify that account and send it to either the email or phone number associated with it. I kept trying to explain that I wouldn't get the code because both of those contact methods had been dead for a long time. So they couldn't help me. I ended up having to report the fraud to Bank of America. What an absolute joke. The crazy thing is they did something similar to me just last month by charging me $79 for Microsoft 365. I did not consent to that but they did it anyway. Unbelievable. Never use GoDaddy! Ever!!!
