Sparky Greyhound Puppies looks like a legitimate site for obtaining an AKC pedigree greyhound puppy. However, this is very much a spam. So glad we realized this before we gave them any money. Several red flags: was given two different names and sites to pay for the puppy, was told that they would ship the puppy to us and then later stated that they would have to make sure we were home. Found out that these people steal pictures and information about actual real breeder puppies and then present them as theirs. Was given an Ohio phone number but told that they were located in Colorado. The website has what looks to be actual testimonies but are also stolen from other sites as one says that they shipped the puppy from PA when we were told CO.

I paid a $700.00 adoption fee for a puppy as a gift. After losing communication with the seller, I did some more extensive background research. Seller goes by the handle &Edwardm720 on CashApp. There have been four (4) police reports filed against this seller in Jefferson County, Colorado. I also have several witnesses who live at the address (used as a front by the seller). It is not a large sum of money, but the principle matters. I hope that nobody else is defrauded in a similar way, compounding the heartbreak of emotional investment in a puppy.
