On 11JAN2025 Southern Smokers LLC (Chris) of Nabb, Indiana posted a trailer for sale on Facebook. I contacted Chris and scheduled a time on the 12th to visit Southern Smokers LLC's shop and look at the trailer. At this meeting we looked at the facility and trailers being built, I asked if they could build one to meet my needs. We agreed that Southern Smokers LLC could build a utility trailer and I would need to pay $3900.00 up front to ensure all supplies could be bought. We shook hands and agreed to a wire transfer on 13JAN2025. I had USAA wire $3900.00 to First Saving Bank ACCT#1777121425 Southern Smokers business account. Southern Smokers LLC never sent a receipt of payment and kept making excuses for not sending one. On 23 FEB 2025 I returned from temp duty ((TDY) Army) to ask about the progress of the trailer build, I was informed the trailer was in inspection and waiting for it to be released. On 10MAR2025 I was informed the trailer would be released Thursday morning, I asked if I could come and pick it up over the weekend. I was informed that Chris (Southern Smokers LLC owner had broken his ankle and would not be available. Chris asked if he could send me a Cashier Check or Wire the money back. I sent my account information for him to wire the money back. Southern Smokers LLC (Chris) has lied 6 times saying he is Wirring the $3900.00 back; USAA contacted First Saving Bank to informed them of fraud and requested the return of funds. No funds were returned. As of today 02APR2025, Southern Smokers LLC, Nabb, Indiana has failed to produce a product that has been paid for in full, or return funds as promised. My last resort is to proceed with Small Claims Court and inform the Better Business Bureau of Indian resulting in additional funds being spent on court cost and person time.
