I was searching for jobs on Facebook, and I came across a company hiring named "SolarWatt". they were hiring for many different positions for a new branch being built in Georgetown TX, a town about 30 minutes from where I live. The positions consisted of: Data Entry Rep, Front Desk Clerk, Sales Rep, Administrative Assist, etc. I wanted to apply for Data Entry Rep, the pay was to be $20.75 per hour. The instructions told me to email a resume to them, so I did.

A day or two later i received an email back from them with more instructions to further the hiring process. This "hiring managers" (Rune Berkemeyer and Ciaran McGahan) said my resume stood out to the supervisors, and i was requested for an online interview. The instructions also told me to download the "Telegram app" for better communication.

After downloading the app I added his username he provided and sent a message. The interview process began after he introduced himself. The interview consisted of lists of questions that would actually be asked in an interview except for 3 questions. One of the questions were "what phone provider do you use", the next question was "is it prepaid or postpaid", and the last was "do you use a credit card or a debit card".

These 3 questions were randomly thrown into a 20+ question "interview". After the interview process, I was excepted after 15 minutes while the "supervisors reviewed my answers".

Upon being hired, I was told I was going to be doing online work until the branch in Weatherford TX opened, the opening date was set about 1 month after i was hired.. I asked for the address of said branch, and he did not answer me directly about that, as for everything else he responded like a human being. He then said that i would be receiving a check to buy a computer, scanner and printer for me to work with at home. In the meantime, he requested I log into the Telegram app to "log in", he then would ask how my morning was going and would eventually get around to me doing a task. the first task was to write an essay on how to treat customers in an organization, so I did. he said I had 48 hours to complete the paper before turning it in at 8:00am. after that task was complete, he gave me a 2nd task which was to write a report on how communication affects the flow of work. so i did that as well, and had 48 hours to do so. Now after i turned that in he asked if i have received an email with the tracking number for the check sent for the equipment, it is supposed to get here today, but has been stuck in Iowa for 2 days according to the USPS tracking information. I would like someone to confirm if this is a scam, or not.
