On June 17, 2019 at 10:20am, I received a call, caller ID said from San Francisco, Ca. The recording said they are going to suspend my Social security and to call them back at 415-315-9446. I did not return the call.

“ This call is from the Department if Social Security and this is your final notification that we have noticed fraudulent use and your card is being canceled...” this is the same message I found on ScamPulse.com website. The call comes every 30 minutes from a different number inseries with what I reported. All from 510 area code. I hang up and never gave info.

The man on the phone identified himself as Jemis Wilson badge ID AR301121 and said he was with the Social Security Service. I asked him if I could speak with someone with an American accent since I was having problems understanding him. He wanted me to identify myself and I told him he already knew who I was by my phone number. He eventually hung up on me, so I kept calling the number back. On the 11th call, he told me to “suck his dick” and called me a hot mama.

I am retired, how do they know I get Social Security? 1st message said they had found a discrepancy in my social security number. 2nd message there was activity on my social security number. 3rd message indicated my social security number would be suspended. They did not give me a call back number, I was asked to press 1.

Consumer received a phone call from someone stating that a case has been filed against them with their social security number. There was no case number, he just told her that she had a case pending against her. It was a recorded voicemail, but consumer called the number back and he asked for her social security number right off the bat. consumer did not give it to him.

Saying my benefit was about to be suspended and for me to press # one to talk to someone about it. I did not respond and hung up both times' This was pretty upsetting at first until I remembered that SS Adm.. doesn't call but contacts by us mail.

This is potentially a very dangerous scam. A message has been repeatedly left on my land-line message system. This woman's voice, without accent, states that she is calling in regard to my social Security number/account. It will be cancelled unless I call back immediately 713-904-3382. She repeats, very believably on the phone, that she is calling from the S. S. office. They need certain details or it will be cancelled. The voice is very believable. She gives, then repeats the number to call. It is the same as the incoming call, and has been the same each time. I am concerned that people will take this seriously, give out their number, and other information. I hope you can give this the bad publicity it deserves.

Scammer, 510-497-0586, called my son saying that he was a victim of identity theft. And that someone in Texas was using his identity and trafficking drugs. They told him that it was not a scam and that they would arrest him if he did not comply. They even went as far as to 'transfer him to a reynoldsburg police officer' to ensure that they were telling the truth. They proceeded to transfer him to another person who claimed to be the DEA for reynoldsburg police that told my son that it was all real and that he needed to comply. They then told him they would freeze his accounts for 48 hours in order to issue him a new social security card. They then told him that he needed to go get a $200 Walmart gift card and call them back with the number on the back.
